What industries do you supply your raw materials to?

We primarily supply the Personal Care, Home Care & Food Ingredients sectors but have done ad-hoc projects across a wider range in the past.

Do you offer both natural and synthetic ingredients?

Yes! We offer a wide range of both natural and synthetic raw materials to meet all customer regulatory, marketing, and budgetary demands.

Are your ingredients organic, sustainably sourced, or certified by regulatory bodies?

Where relevant, any product we supply that is certified as organic, natural, RSPO or Fair Trade certified will be backed up with all the relevant certifications.

What are your lead times for order fulfillment and delivery?

We aim to supply stock held items to forecast clients within 24-48 hours where possible. However, as we have multiple warehouse locations across South Africa we do have to move stock between branches on demand so that will add lead time depending on our weekly stock consolidation cycles.

Do you provide samples for testing before bulk orders?

We offer up to 10 free samples per request as believe sampling is the lifeblood of our business. All we ask is that clients arrange to collect these samples from the most relevant branch unless otherwise agreed by management.

Are your products compliant with international cosmetic, food, or fragrance regulations?

As we source only from reputable, professional global raw material producers we will always supply products backed up with a full set of technical & regulatory documents on demand.

What is your sample policy for International Clients?

While samples from Fourchem will always be free, we do get hundreds of export sample requests a year and only a small fraction of these convert into business. Therefore we cannot cover the cost of courier on these samples, so we request that clients arrange their own courier to collect samples from any of our RSA branches.

What is your order process for new clients?

New clients can reach out to their closest Fourchem Branch and ask for the most relevant price list to be sent to them by one of our Customer Service Guru’s. Once they have decided on the order mix and quantities, they can contact the same Customer Service Guru and ask for a quotation to be created, and once this is paid and cleared that region’s operations team will take over and prepare the order. This process can take a few days for local stock or over a week if the stock is held elsewhere in the country.

What is your minimum charge for delivery?

Typically we deliver on orders over R5000 but for regular, ongoing clients we are always flexible and supportive of our loyal clients as far as possible.
